1. Acceptance and operator
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the REDOWN browser extension, its associated website, and related tools (collectively, "REDOWN"), developed independently by the REDOWN project. By using REDOWN, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. For support, visit our support page.
2. What REDOWN provides
REDOWN helps users select permitted files and transfer or manage them in cloud storage accounts they connect. Depending on the provider, file source, and workflow, a transfer may occur remotely, through the browser, or through a user-selected local upload. Not all URLs, formats, file sizes, websites, destinations, or providers are supported. REDOWN does not provide or guarantee a separate cloud storage account or storage capacity.
3. Your accounts and authorization
You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining any Cloudflare, Google, Dropbox, Microsoft, or other third-party accounts needed for the features you choose; protecting account credentials; reviewing requested access; and complying with the provider's terms and usage limits. REDOWN requests access to connected accounts only through the mechanisms supported for that integration. You can revoke provider authorization using the provider's account-security controls. Revoking access does not automatically delete files previously saved to a provider.
4. Permitted files and responsible use
Only transfer, copy, preview, or manage files that you own or are authorized to use. You are responsible for your selected source URLs, destinations, filenames, content, and any permissions required to save the content. Do not use REDOWN to infringe copyrights, violate privacy or confidentiality, access systems without permission, distribute malware, circumvent provider limits, or violate applicable law. REDOWN does not grant rights to third-party material merely because it can be downloaded.
5. Files, previews and transfer results
Source websites and cloud providers may block requests, require authentication, enforce rate or size limits, or reject files. Interrupted transfers, duplicate names, account quota limits, and configuration errors can cause failures or unexpected results. Confirm important transfers in the destination account. You are responsible for keeping backup copies where appropriate. File management actions you choose, including rename, overwrite, move, or delete if supported, can affect cloud content.
6. Privacy and connected providers
Our Privacy Policy explains the categories of data REDOWN may access and process, including provider authorization information, file metadata, source URLs, transfer history, and user-selected file contents. The connected storage provider and originating website process data under their own policies. REDOWN is an independent product and is not endorsed by or affiliated with Cloudflare, Google, Dropbox, or Microsoft.
7. Fees and third-party charges
The provider whose storage you connect may charge for storage, bandwidth, requests, or subscription services. Such charges are governed by that provider's agreement. If REDOWN offers a paid feature, its applicable price and purchase terms should be presented before a purchase. These Terms do not create a subscription or authorize a charge by themselves.
8. Changes, availability and support
REDOWN may change, suspend, or discontinue features, integrations, and compatibility, including to address security, legal, or provider API changes. Where feasible, material changes will be described on the website or in a product update. We may revise these Terms and update the effective date; continued use after notice of a change means you accept the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
9. Disclaimer and responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, REDOWN is provided "as is" and "as available," without a guarantee of uninterrupted access, error-free operation, successful transfer, or suitability for any specific purpose. Nothing here excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from provider outages, failed transfers, or content you choose to manage. This section does not limit liability where applicable law prohibits such limits.
10. Contact
For questions about these Terms, visit REDOWN Support or open a general support issue. Public GitHub issues are visible to others: never post passwords, tokens, personal documents, or private source URLs. If a matter is sensitive, request a private contact method without exposing the details publicly.
